China Scholarship Council Facts
You can request all CNU scholarships at once but it is worth double checking with the university what combinations are allowed. You will need to contact them for this information. Deadlines are the 31st of May.
Before Applying
If you are accepted to Capital Normal University’s degree program, you may be eligible for one of our Type B scholarships. These are very competitive and admissions are selective. Scholarships provide funding for both tuition fees and living expenses. All students meeting eligibility requirements should ask an advisor.
Who Can Apply For The Scholarships
To be eligible for Capital Normal University CSC scholarship, you must meet the following requirements::
- Be a citizen of a country other than China
- Have an adequate mental and physical capacity
- Meet the age requirement for your chosen program
- Have met prerequisites for admission to Capital Normal University. Have no other scholarships offered by another university.
" ": To be eligible to apply for Capital Normal University's scholarship, one must meet these requirements: citizenship of a country that is not China; sound mind and body; older than 35 years in Master's program or 45 in Doctoral programs; not have yet been admitted to CMU with exception to note above. This excludes one from applying if there are any previously offered scholarships
Application Form
To fill out the CSC scholarship form correctly, make sure you:
- visit the CSC website and register yourself under a profile with all your details
- click on the "Inline application" button at the left side of this page and complete it
- if you are applying to more than one school, create a separate account for each school.
- note down the agency number of whichever school is processing your application - then enter that number into the inline application form that shows up when applying to a scholarship from that specific university. Keep in mind that different scholarships have been created for different fields of study - so choose one from among those offered by your chosen institute, which match your eligibility requirements.
- fill in all required information truthfully and completely without fabricating any details.
- Once satisfied with what you've put down, scroll back up till you see "submit". Click on it and download an updated copy; keep this updated version in case there's any need necessary for reference later on; apply for other scholarships if required/desired; print out copy if desired./

Target Dates For Applying And Results
When you apply for the Capital Normal University Scholarship, the process takes approximately 5 months. DURING the first 2 months, applicants are granted Pre-admissions. From October to February they are required to submit their College Geometry Society (CGS) online application form. The selection process happens about 1 month later and is followed by applicant approval around July to August so that they can attend courses in September.
