Here are some things you should know when applying for scholarships at CUPB.- Students are only eligible if they are pre-admitted to the university;
- There are two types of scholarships available: tuition scholarships that provide full or partial funding per year, and CGS, which provides scholarships funded by the Chinese government for countries with diplomatic ties and cultural exchanges;
- Tuition scholarship applications are free but there is a fee for graduate programs. Before applying, students should check what type of award they qualify for and what awards can be combined together;

Our type B scholarships are specifically for people who are accepted to study at CUPB. They are highly competitive and admissions are selective. There is also a guarantee that once you get in, you'll be able to access scholarship funding for your studies if you need it.- Find out about the different types of scholarships available at CUPB. Who Is Eligible For The Scholarships
The University requires that candidates for this scholarship be a citizen of a country outside of China and have a sound mind and healthy body. Different programs have different age restrictions, but there is no maximum age for a Master’s degree while the Doctoral program has authorized the 45 year cut-off. Pre-admission to China University of Petroleum(Beijing) is required before application can be recommended. Other universities are not allowed to nominate an applicant as one of their colleagues’ CGS candidate for this award.Application Form

In the ‘Inline Scholarship Application Form’ you will find, click through and fill it out correctly. For each scholarship you want to apply for, create a new account.
Copy down this agency number from the form onto the application form on the CSC website. Fill in all requested information carefully so that it is true and do not fabricate anything, then submit your app by clicking next at the bottom of this screen. Download your submission and keep a copy--to have additional references or if needed, take hard copies of forms home with you when they are available.
