Some Facts About CSC Scholarships
-HEU offers scholarships to pre-admitted students.- Students can apply for one of two types of scholarship: tuition scholarships, which provide free tuition fee per year, or CGS scholarships, which are funded by the Chinese government.
- The application will not cost you anything unless you are applying for postgraduate education at HEU.
- If you're applying for multiple programs in one semester, they may not combine with graduate scholarship. Contact us before filling out more than one form!
Before Applying
Not every university offers scholarships, so it’s important to research if HEU has such programs. Once accepted, you could use scholarship funding to pay for courses and living expenses- Learn about the different scholarship options available at HEU. Are they only for undergraduates? Eligible Students
To be considered for a Harbin Engineering University scholarship, you must meet the following eligibility requirements:- You should not be a citizen of China and should have a sound mind and healthy body. Different programs have age requirements, but applicants for Master’s degrees need to be no older than 35 years,
- Applicants can only apply from one institution per year. To be eligible for consideration by HEU they must maintain a bachelor’s degree or higher,
- Application forms are only accepted before an applicant is admitted into the university to ensure that they have been pre-selected for admittance. The applicant cannot already have been offered another scholarship from another institution and cannot nominate themselves as candidates to other universities in their application form, because other educational institutions will give them full scholarships through negotiation.,
"Applicant" refers to someone who applies or requests something from somebody else., "to apply" has two meanings: asking someone else's permission politely in advance to do sth despite being aware of being unlikely (he applied unsuccessfully) and requesting (he applied online).
Application Form
If you are a student planning to apply for a scholarship at Harbin Engineering University, you will need to fill out the following information.Step 1: Fill out the CSC official website and create a profile with all your details.
Step 2: There will be an inline application form. Fill it up.
Step 3: If you are applying for more than one university, you cannot do so from this account. You have to create a new account for each scholarship that you apply to. This usually means creating another email address as well as adding your personal details again on that account's webpage if it's not a Google or Facebook login bypass situation. Make sure that your data is correct and not plagiarised!
Step 4: Enter the agency’s number in the application form on CSC’s website which is being filled out- this would either be inside the university itself or stated separately on their website about scholarship requirements or their online portal for scholarships ie eligibility criteria etc might mention it)
Different types of scholarships are available based upon programme level – often these will specify whether they're for undergraduate, post graduate or PhD students; some may also specify subjects such as business management, architecture and civil engineering etc (ie choose wisely!). When To Apply And Wait For Results
The CSC Scholarship process usually takes about 2-4 months:- Apply for pre-admissions by October
- Submit the CATS application by April
- The Harbin Engineering University will select and review your application around May/June.
Only applicants successful at this stage will be congratulated, and only those awarded the scholarship will receive a letter of confirmation. This is usually around July-August.
