Hebei Normal University offers scholarships only to pre-admitted students. Scholarship recipients are selected every year, so it is important to apply early. There are two types of scholarships offered, with CGS being awarded according to ties with China and the other - Tuition Scholarships - based on different levels of income or family status. You can apply for Tuition Scholarships for one or more years in advance. As applicants are generally evaluated on an individual basis, it might be wise not plan to combine any scholarship you are applying for with another one already received or soon-to-be received. CSC is a joint scholarship offered by Hebei Normal University and the COPOL group.Applicants must be citizens of a country other than China, and they must meet all of HBZU’s requirements:
- Not more than 35 years old for master’s degree;
- Not more than 45 years old for doctoral degree; and,
- Applicant must pre-apply through HBZU and be nominated as a candidate. Prize sponsored by COPOL.

If you are applying for the CSC scholarship at Hebei Normal University, here's what to do:- Go to the CSC website and create a profile for yourself with your basic information
- You will see an inline application form; fill it out completely
- If you're applying for more than one university, don't use this same account; create an account for each scholarship that you're applying for -- but remember the agency number (each university has its own agency
- Enter this number in the inline application form on the CSC website (it will be found under your information
- Different scholarships are available based on your program level; make sure you pick the correct one before completing all required fields in the form (remember not to provide false or fabricated information) 6. Click "submit".
- Download your submitted application and keep it safe as proof of submitting, just in case there is any need of reference later on -- if possible, attach a hard copy of it with other papers that cannot be misplaced so they can easily be located when needed
